A used 2003 Bongo 4HS has arrived!!

A Bongo—which has a loyal following—has arrived in our used inventory.
A serial number check confirmed it was manufactured in 2003. While the HH pickup configuration is the most common for Bongos, this HS model is highly recommended as a versatile option that delivers the powerful bass characteristic of Bongos while also offering the clarity and aggressive sound of single-coil pickups.

With a nut width that’s wider than the 41.3 mm JB but narrower than the Stingray, 24 frets, and a 4-band active EQ—including HI-mid and Low-mid

This model features a color that translates literally to “Egyptian Smoke.” As it’s a Bongo, the back of the neck is finished in the same color.

It shows signs of wear appropriate for its age, with damage to the finish on the back of the neck, including chips, cracks, and scratches.
While there are numerous marks, none are deep dents, and they won’t be noticeable during a live performance. Additionally, there are signs of wear, such as dents, on the body and headstock. Some parts show signs of tarnish.
It has been fully adjusted by our repair department upon arrival. The frets have been dressed, so it plays comfortably as is, though the fret height is on the lower side.
