A 2025 Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Standard Ultra Light Aged has arrived!
The division led by aging master Tom Murphy uses a special, ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer developed based on years of scientific research. This authentically recreates the superb tone and the vintage-specific weather checking—the subtle discoloration and patina that develop naturally when a guitar is carefully stored in its case over time.

The Ultra Light Aged finish is the lightest in the series, recreating the natural texture and cracks of the ultra-thin lacquer—rather than flashy scratches—along with a subtle patina on the hardware.

It features a carefully selected two-piece figured maple top and a lightweight one-piece mahogany back. The rosewood fingerboard features rolled edges for a smooth, comfortable grip.
Traditional hide glue is used to bond the body and neck, and a tubeless truss rod is employed. It boasts the superb natural resonance and response characteristic of vintage instruments.

It is equipped with an unpot-tied Custombucker pickup. This instrument has a sound that leans slightly toward the low-mid range, offering a lustrous, sweet tone that is truly captivating.

Due to the aged finish, the details of any subsequent scratches are unclear, but there are virtually no signs of wear, and the guitar remains in excellent condition.
The neck is in excellent condition, and the frets show almost no wear.
All accessories, including the certificate of authenticity, are included.

With its elegant color and beautiful, well-balanced grain pattern throughout, this staff-recommended instrument features a high-quality, richly colored fingerboard that further enhances its luxurious feel!
