USED GIBSON CUSTOM / Les Paul Class 5 Quilt BB [03]

We’ve just received a used 2002 Les Paul Class 5 Quilt!
Unlike the Vintage Reissue (Historic Collection) models, the Les Paul Class 5 is a premium model born from the concept: “What if Gibson used modern technology to create a Les Paul with the best playability and a modern sound?”

It features a 5A-grade premium quilted maple top, a lightweight mahogany back with weight relief, and a mahogany neck with a long tenon.
The neck features the slim, easy-to-grip “1960 Slim Taper” profile, allowing for smooth fingering all the way up to the high frets and enabling stress-free technical playing.

It is equipped with “Burstbucker 2” and “Burstbucker 3” pickups. The combination of the Burstbucker 2—which offers slightly higher output—and the Burstbucker 3—which has the highest number of windings in the series and delivers high power—results in excellent high-frequency clarity thanks to the open-cover design. Even with deep distortion, the sound remains clear and unclipped, producing a powerful tone suitable for hard rock and metal.

Overall, there are minor scratches, dents, buckle marks, and some tarnish on the hardware. Additionally, there are cracks in the binding in several places due to paint shrinkage, and stand marks on the body end.
The neck is in excellent condition, and the frets have ample height.

Its gorgeous appearance—featuring luxurious, beautiful 5A-grade quilted maple, abalone inlays, and gold hardware—is sure to catch the eye.
While it shows moderate signs of use, considering its age, it has maintained a clean condition and is highly recommended!
