We’ve just received a used 1990 Orville EB-3 Cherry!

This guitar features a distinctive SG-style look reminiscent of the Gibson EB-3. It has a mahogany body and neck, with a rosewood fingerboard. The short scale length makes it exceptionally easy to handle, and its compact size allows you to enjoy playing this model to the fullest.

It is equipped with two pickups: one in the front and one in the rear. The 4-position selector switch operates as follows: position 1 engages the front pickup; position 2 engages the front and rear pickups; position 3 engages the rear pickup; and position 4 engages the rear pickup with the filter circuit active. You can enjoy different sounds in each position, allowing for the unique tone shaping that the EB-3 is known for.

Please note that this particular instrument has been found to produce distorted sound in the fourth position of the selector switch. No specific issues were found with the bridge pickup itself, and the resistance values of the pickups and coils have been confirmed to be within normal ranges. Therefore, it is being sold as-is.

In terms of condition, there are scattered dents and scratches across the body, and the parts show some dulling. Please note that the appearance reflects normal wear and tear commensurate with the instrument’s age. The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod functions properly.
