This special-edition guitar features a curly maple neck, ziricote fingerboard, DMO pickups, and a Private Stock finish. The back of the neck features the same coloring as the body top, making this a special model with a look very similar to a Private Stock guitar!

The Custom 24 is synonymous with PRS and has been at the heart of the brand ever since its debut at the 1985 Winter NAMM.

This Custom 24-08 features a maple top, mahogany back, and curly stained maple neck; 24 frets; a 25-inch scale;a PRS-original Gen III tremolo unit, and Phase III tuners with newly designed wing buttons—all core specifications of the Custom 24. At the same time, the full-size DMO humbucker pickups and the EQ mini-toggle switch enable a rich variety of eight distinct sounds.
The DMO pickup—whose name stands for “Dynamic Musical Open”—was designed by Paul Reed Smith and the engineering team in the New Product Development department to deliver a sound with breadth and transparency, as well as rich, vocal-like expressiveness.
