Momose is a Japanese handmade brand known for its meticulous instrument craftsmanship, from wood selection to processing and assembly. Based on the classic Jazz Bass style, this model showcases the quality of its materials and attention to detail.

The “White Blonde” finish, which subtly reveals the wood grain, gives this instrument a truly captivating look. It’s not pure white—instead, the semi-transparent finish allows the grain of the ash body to peek through, creating a unique allure. The result is a simple yet undeniably eye-catching design.

Featuring a two-piece ash body, a maple neck, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard, it’s equipped with two Momose VJ-1 pickups. The controls are simple—two volume knobs and one tone knob—allowing you to enjoy the clear, responsive sound characteristic of a Jazz Bass.

The truss rod functions properly. There is some slight twisting visible in the neck.

Externally, there is a red, line-shaped scratch near the bottom of the bridge and a dent on the lower back of the headstock. Additionally, there is a paint crack approximately 3mm long on the side of the body, as well as some scratches along the curved section on the back of the body.
