We have received a used MARTIN / GPCPA3 Sapele from the Performing Artist Series.

The “Performing Artist Series” combines traditional Martin acoustic sound with stage playability and advanced electronics.

This particular model is a 2011 GPCPA3 Sapele.

Key specifications include a solid Sitka spruce top, solid sapele sides and back, a select hardwood neck, and a Black Rich Light fingerboard and bridge.

The all-solid body, crafted from Sitka spruce and Sapele, is characterized by a crisp attack and warm midrange. It accommodates a wide range of playing styles, from strumming to delicate fingerpicking.

As for its condition, there are a relatively large number of dents visible throughout the body, as well as scratches, scuffs, and other signs of wear and tear from use.

There is slight warping visible on the top.

The neck has a very slight forward bow, and the string action at the 12th fret is approximately 2.7 mm on the 6th string side and approximately 2.1 mm on the 1st string side.

The truss rod has been tested for movement up to 60 degrees in both directions, and there are currently no issues with its adjustment function.

We have leveled the frets in-house to maintain a playable height. Approximately 60% of the fret material remains.

Additionally, adhesive repair has been performed on one section of the binding.

The saddle has been replaced, and the output balance of the piezo pickup has been adjusted accordingly. The nut slots have also been corrected.

It comes with the original hard case.
