Rare Fender Japan 8-string double-neck steel!

Fender originally started out as a steel guitar manufacturer. The company produced many famous instruments, but stopped producing steel guitars in the early 1980s. However, when Fender Japan's director at the time, Norihiro Saito, visited the Fender U.S.A. factory, he discovered steel guitar parts left behind at the factory. Mr. Saito, who was also a country singer known as the "Japanese Johnny Cash," decided to produce steel guitars in Japan, which were indispensable for Hawaiian and country music.
This is a reissue of the famous Stringmaster. This is a professional 8-string double neck model made in 1989-1990.
There are dents, scratches, abrasions, cracks in the paint film, dull plating on metal parts, and light rust. There are some dents with some paint chipping and some areas of peeling plating on the upper neck peg plate, but there is no noticeable damage. There is a slight buzzing on the circuit, but it is not at a level that would greatly interfere with practical use.
As we do not carry strings for steel guitars, you will receive the strings as they were when you received the guitar. Please forgive any rust, dirt, etc. Both necks are tuned in C6th.
You can enjoy the bright tone typical of Fender. Nowadays, this is a rare piece. This guitar is highly versatile and recommended for serious Hawaiian, old country, and western swing players.
