Musicmaster Bass made in 1970, the first year, is in stock!

This is the first year model of the Musicmaster Bass, which was produced between 1970 and 1982 as the Student model.
It has the same short scale neck and 19 frets as the Mustang Bass.
It also features the same gray bobbin pickups used in the Music Master guitar.
In order to tune up the guitar pickups for bass, a low-pass capacitor is installed in addition to the tone pot for a constant low-pass, which contributes to the boomy sound that was popular at the time.

The neck date is not visible, but is determined to be original based on the paint ride, logo, and pegs.
Based on the pickup date and pot date, we have determined that it was made in 1970.
The condenser has a Circle D listed as "80-20 .05 50V" and a film type listed as ".022 +-10% 600V 900".
The only replacement parts are the nut and frets.

The appearance is commensurate with its age, and the neck is a little high up, but there is no sound blockage as it is now.
The truss rod has been checked to 90 degrees left and right.
String height is set at about 3mm on the 4th string and 2mm on the 1st string on the 12th fret.

Comes with Fender chipboard case.
This is a simple yet profound and a little bit cute one!

1970年、初年度製のMusicmaster Bassが入荷！

スチューデントモデルとして1970～1982年の間に製作されたミュージックマスターベース、その初年度のモデルです。
ムスタングベースと同じショートスケールのネック、19フレットの仕様。
ピックアップにはミュージックマスターギターに使われていたものと同じグレーボビンが搭載されているのも特徴です。
ギター用のピックアップをベース用にチューンアップするため、トーンポットに追加で、常時かかるローパス用コンデンサーが搭載され、当時流行していたブーミーなサウンドに一役買っております。

ネックデイトは視認できませんが、塗装の乗り方やロゴ、ペグなどからオリジナルと判断。
ピックアップデイトとポットデイトから、1970年製と判断しております。
コンデンサーには「80-20 .05 50V」記載のサークルDと「.022 +-10% 600V 900」記載のフィルムタイプを搭載。
交換パーツはナットとフレットのみです。

外観は年代相応で、ネックが少しハイ起きしていますが、現状で音詰まりはございません。
トラスロッドは左右90°まで確認済み。
弦高は12フレット上で4弦3mm、1弦2mmほどでセッティング。

Fender製チップボードケースが付属します。
シンプルだからこそ奥が深い、ちょっぴりかわいい１本です！
