The Les Paul Classic was introduced in the early 1990's. This Premium Plus Les Paul Classic is made of high-grade figured maple that rivals the Custom Shop.

The concept of Les Paul Classic is to reproduce vintage Les Paul.
The body is made of 2-piece figured maple top, 1-piece solid mahogany back, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The deep routing from the control cavity to the selector is also a characteristic of this period.

The head features a Gibson logo, "Les Paul Classic" silkscreen, truss rod cover with Classic engraving, and Kluson Double Line/Single Ring.

The bound neck with angular dish inlays has a slightly thinner, easy-to-play "Slim Taper" profile from the 60s.

Hardware is nickel and features a wired Gibson ABR-1, stop tailpiece, and gold hat knob (with a crack inside).
The pickups are high power, contoured, and distorted "490R/498T" with 2Vol/2Tone controls hand-wired on the plate.

The color is "Honey Burst," a sunburst reddish color that has faded with age, and it goes well with Premium Plus high-grade maple, giving it a vintage-like dignity. The pickguard has not been installed since the beginning due to the superb wood grain, and it has been stored in a hard case.

The frets are about 80% full and the truss rod is confirmed to turn 90 degrees both tightened and loosened.
There are some scuffs, scratches, and dings from use, but they do not affect the use of the guitar and you can use it as much as you like.
