The Paul Deluxe is a sister model of The Paul.

The difference is that The Paul has a walnut 2P-3P body and walnut 3P neck, while The Paul Deluxe has a mahogany 2P-3P body and mahogany 3P neck with volute.
Ebony fingerboard.

Contour on both the top and back of the body from the top of the pickup on the 6th string side to the elbow area, which makes it easy to hold.

The head has a gold decal logo, but this model has an engraved Gibson logo that has been used since 1981.
The model we have just received was made in 1980, so it is probably in the transitional period of completion.
Peg tuners are Grover Keystone.

Pickups are numbered (with date) Tim Shaw/New PAF.
Nashville plinth, steel tailpiece, and black speed knob.
Control knobs are black speed knobs.

Controls have not been replaced, Pot Date: 137-"79"26, made in 1979.

The sound is powerful, yet
The sound is powerful, but with a nice mahogany mid tone.

Overall, there are scratches, dents, paint bald spots, and pick scratches.
There are some scratches on the back of the guitar, but since the guitar is 45 years old, they are probably just scratches of dignity.

違いは、The Paulがウォルナット2P-3Pボディ、ネックはウォルナット3Pに対して、The Paul Deluxeは、マホガニー2P-3P、ネックマホガニー3Pボリュート有り
フィンガーボードは、エボニー指板

ボディー6弦側ピックアップ上からエルボー部分にかけて、トップバック共にコンターが有り、抱えやすくなっております

ヘッドには、ゴールドデカールロゴが基本ですが、こちらのモデルは、1981年からとなる、彫り込み式のGibsonロゴとなっております。
今回入荷した個体は、1980年製ですのでおそらく完成が過渡期かと思われます。
ペグチューナーは、グローバーのキーストーン

ピックアップには、刻印ナンバード(デイト有り)ティム・ショー/New PAF
プリッジは、ナッシュビル　テールピースは、スチール
コントロールノブは、ブラックのスピードノブ

サウンドは、パワフルでありながら
マホガニーサウンドであるミッド感が気持ち良くGoodです。

全体的に、傷、打痕、塗装ハゲ、ピック傷有り
バックには、バックル傷有りますが、45年も前のギターですので、もはや貫禄の傷といった感じでしょうか
