A 1998 MBS George Fullerton Prototype Stratocaster "Closet Classic White Blonde" by John English has arrived.

This rare instrument, crafted by John English, is modeled after the Stratocaster originally built and sent to George Fullerton.

It features a white blonde ash body and a vivid flame maple neck.
The fingerboard has a 7.25" radius, and the frets have been refretted with Jescar vintage-size frets; the nut has also been replaced.
It is equipped with original black-bobbin pickups.

Since Mr. Fullerton had large hands and would have bumped into the controls at their standard positions, a plate was mounted on the black anodized pickguard, and the controls were positioned closer to the outer edge of the body than usual—a key distinguishing feature of this guitar.

Since the truss rod had broken internally when the guitar arrived, we replaced it with a genuine Fender truss rod.
During this process, the skunk stripe was temporarily removed; we then installed a new skunk stripe made from the same material to fill the gap, and matched the color, refinished, and polished it to blend with the neck’s finish.

In addition, the selector switch (a 3-way switch, identical to the original) has been replaced.

The neck is currently in good condition, and the truss rod has plenty of adjustment range remaining.
The frets show almost no wear, making this a guitar in excellent playing condition.

It comes with the original tweed case, certificate of authenticity (October '98), tremolo arm, and bridge cover.
