USED Gibson Custom Shop / Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Standard HRM VOS Slow Ice Tea Fade -2018- [04]

Selected by the Japan dealer during a 2018 business trip to the Gibson Custom Shop Nashville Factory.
This is a special model that cannot be made today using Hard Rock Maple.

The top is made of "Hard Rock Maple" with moderate flex and straight grain.
The finish is the popular Slow Ice Tea Fade, a color reminiscent of a well-faded sunburst.
The back is made of one-piece mahogany with beautiful grain. The back is painted with aniline dye, and the red color fades to brown as it ages.

The neck is also made of one-piece mahogany. The fingerboard is made of rosewood.
The paint is aniline dyed as same as the back wood. You can see that the red color has faded a little to brown color.

Two Custom Bucker pickups are mounted.
These pickups were developed based on the P.A.F. used in Gibson's 50s vintage guitars, and the vintage-like sound can be changed by the Vol and Tone controls.

The pickup mounting ring, pickguard, jack plate, pickup selector, and control knob have been redone, and Ture Historic parts that were made until early 2018 are used.
