ストラトキャスターの40周年を記念して製作された、Fender Japan / ST62-65AS 3Tone SunburstのMOD品が入荷いたしました。
62年仕様をベースに、フレイムがプリントされたフォトフレイム・ネックや40周年記念モデルのオリジナル・デザインとなるジョイント・プレートなどの仕様が特徴となります。
主なモディファイ内容は以下の通りです
・ピックアップ交換(Pure Vintage '56 Stratocaster Pickup)
・ポット(CTS製)、セレクター(OAK製)、キャパシタ(Luxe製 ZNW1P1 Chiclet)、配線材の交換
・キャビティ内のシールド処理
・ネック裏面のみ艶消しに加工
ヘッドに焦げ痕が見られ、ネックのシリアルの左辺りに塗装欠けのタッチアップがございます。
また、詳細は不明ですが、バックパネルを留める下2つのネジ穴周辺の木部が割れてしまったと思われ、その修正が施されております。
ネックの状態は良好で、トラスロッドも問題ございません。
フレットは恐らく直近ですり合わせが行われており、現状の高さは低めではございますが、音詰まりなどはなく、現状で使用上の問題はございません。
ノンオリジナル・ツイードケース、アームが付属いたします。

We have received a modified version of the Fender Japan / ST62-65AS 3-Tone Sunburst, created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Stratocaster.
Based on the 1962 specification, this model features a "Photo-Flam" neck with a printed flame pattern and a joint plate featuring the original design from the 40th anniversary commemorative models.
The main modifications are as follows:
・Pickup replacement (Pure Vintage '56 Stratocaster Pickup)
・Replacement of pots (CTS), selector switch (OAK), capacitors (Luxe ZNW1P1 Chiclet), and wiring
・Shielding inside the cavity
・Matte finish applied only to the back of the neck
There are burn marks on the headstock, and there is a touch-up of chipped paint near the left side of the neck serial number.
Additionally, although the details are unclear, it appears the wood around the bottom two screw holes securing the back panel had cracked, and this has been repaired.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is functioning properly.
The frets have likely been recently leveled; while the current height is on the low side, there is no muting or other issues, and the instrument is fully playable as is.
A non-original tweed case and a tremolo arm are included.
