Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS Washed Cherry -2006-

A 2006 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue featuring the VOS (Vintage Original Spec) finish.
It features a Washed Cherry finish with a subtly faded red hue around the perimeter of the top, and is constructed with plain maple for the top, mahogany for the back, a solid mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

The wood is flat-sawn (straight-grained), with a faint flame pattern along the outer edge of the body on the 6th string side. The body back is finished with aniline dye powder for an elegant look.

It is equipped with "Burstbucker #1/#2" pickups, featuring 2-volume / 2-tone / 3-way switch controls, CTS pots, and Bumblebee replica capacitors.

It shows some signs of use, including hairline scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout, as well as buckle marks on the back of the body, and some tarnish and rust on the parts; however, there is no damage that would affect its playability.
Approximately 70% of the frets remain, and we have confirmed that the truss rod turns 60 degrees in both directions.
