A 1996 SG Standard has arrived.

The "SG Standard" is a classic model characterized by its large pickguard, a feature found in models produced from the 1990s through the 2010s.
With its bold ebony finish, this guitar boasts a rock-inspired look that’s sure to appeal.

It features a mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard.
It is equipped with the classic ’90s “490R & 498T” pickups, delivering a modern classic sound.

Although the bridge was changed to a Nashville-tuned O-matic bridge in 2003, this particular guitar predates that change and features the ABR-1 bridge with a retainer—a nice touch that adds to its vintage style.

Additionally, while SG necks are generally thin, this SG Standard features a tapered shape that becomes thicker from around the 7th fret up to the higher frets—another distinctive feature.

It shows signs of wear appropriate for its age, such as minor scratches and scuffs.
It’s in good playing condition, and the frets show almost no wear.
The neck is also in good condition, and there is plenty of play left in the truss rod.

It comes with the original brown case.
