A 2024 Eric Johnson 1954 Virginia Stratocaster has arrived in stock.

This series pays homage to the Fender electric guitars used by legendary musicians to create music that has gone down in history.
The first model released in this series is the Stories Collection Eric Johnson 1954 “Virginia” Stratocaster.

Eric Johnson’s beloved 1954 “Virginia” Stratocaster was used in the recording of “Cliffs of Dover”—one of his signature songs—as well as on his Grammy-winning albums *Tones* and *Ah Via Musicom*.

Featuring a custom wiring setup and an extremely rare two-piece offset-seam sassafras body with a lacquer finish, this model is sure to captivate all players—including collectors—with its distinctive look and unique tone.

The pickguard still has the protective film on it, and the guitar shows very little overall wear.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is functioning properly.
The frets show almost no wear, and the instrument is in excellent playing condition.

A Fender Custom Shop decal is affixed to the back of the headstock. Based on its condition, the neck appears to be an original part, but details are unknown. Please note that this instrument will be sold as-is.

It comes with the original tweed case and a tremolo arm.
