Gretsch G6120DSW Chet Atkins Hollow Body with DynaSonic Pickups, Western Maple Stain -2007-

We’ve just received a used 2007 G6120DSW, which was discontinued around 2016!

This Nashville model features a full Western specification, paying tribute to the early Chet Atkins models of the mid-1950s.
The G6120DSW features a full-acoustic body constructed from laminated maple, paired with a traditional maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and a set-neck construction.
The headstock features the Gretsch logo and cow-motif inlays, and is equipped with open-back tuners. The bound neck, adorned with Western block inlays depicting cacti and cows, features 22 narrow-tall frets, a brass nut, and a medium scale length.

It features an “G” brand on the upper bout, a polished Bigsby vibrato tailpiece with a 1956-style handle,an “Arrow” knob, aged binding, gold hardware, and a Western maple-stained finish—all elements of an authentic Western design. The 16-inch-wide, 2 3/4-inch-deep body is equipped with two Dual Dynasonic single-coil pickups. Controls include Master Volume, Master Tone, Neck Volume, Bridge Volume, and a 3-way selector switch.

It shows almost no signs of use, with only slight scuffs overall. The frets have approximately 80% life remaining, and we have confirmed that the truss rod rotates 60 degrees in both directions.
