Gibson Vintage 1978 EDS-1275 Walnut

A double-neck model that has been in production since 1957
Originally known as the “Double 12,” it was renamed to its current model name, “EDS-1275,” in 1959.
It has been played by a wide range of artists, including Jimmy Page, Don Felder, and Slash.

Specifications vary by year, but the unit we’ve just received is a 1978 model with a two-piece mahogany body
The finish is the popular “Walnut” color
The neck is a 3-piece maple with a volute
The fingerboard is rosewood with 22-fret split inlays
On the back of the headstock, near the volute,

It is equipped with four stamped, numbered pickups
These are the pickups that defined the ’70s!!
Controls: 3-way switch (pickup selector) at the center of the body
On the 6th-string side: 3-way switch (12th/6th string selector), 2 volume controls, and 2 tone controls
Pot Date: 137"78" The rest were covered in solder and could not be verified, but since there are no signs that the solder was removed, they are original.

Overall, there are some scratches, dents, and tarnish on the metal parts, but the condition is good.
Both the 6-string and 12-string necks remain straight, and the truss rod is in good working order.
The frets have slight indentations in the lower positions, but there is no buzzing.
