USED GIBSON CUSTOM / YCS Les Paul Quilt Top Deep Joint Cherry Red -1997- [04]

We have received a Les Paul Quilt Top Deep Joint that was custom-built in 1997 for a distributor at the time.

This guitar is characterized by its beautiful appearance, featuring a vibrant quilted top paired with a slightly faded Cherry Red finish.
It features a stamped serial number and a Custom Shop decal on the back of the headstock.

The neck has a relatively slim profile, similar to that of a Les Paul Classic.
Both pickups have been replaced; the front features a 57 Classic with zebra bobbins.
The bridge pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan / Duncan Custom SH-5, which has a “CDJ” sticker on the back.

Overall, this guitar shows significant signs of wear, with numerous scratches, buckle marks, and cracks.
Cracks characteristic of 1990s models are also visible on the headstock and top.

The truss rod has room to adjust in both directions.
The neck has a slight positive bow on the 1st string side compared to the 6th string side, but this does not pose any issues with the current setup or playability.
The frets show signs of wear from fingering, but there is no muting or other issues; overall, they have about 80% of their original depth remaining and are still fully playable.

It comes with the original brown case.
