The Fender Japan / Aerodyne Jazz Bass AJB-66 has arrived.

The Aerodyne Jazz Bass features a round body with binding and a PJ pickup configuration.

It features a basswood body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.
The fingerboard radius is 7.25"R.

It is equipped with a “PB SINGLE” pickup in the front and a “JB SINGLE” pickup in the rear.
It features a PJ layout, combining a Precision Bass-style front pickup with a Jazz Bass-style rear pickup. It delivers a wide range of tones, from thick, powerful bass to a well-defined, clear sound, making it ideal for a variety of genres, including rock and pop.

Based on the serial number, this instrument was manufactured between 2006 and 2008.
Although the case is not original, it comes with a Fender Japan soft case (the pocket zipper is broken).

Overall, it shows significant signs of use, with several noticeable scratches, stains, and dents.
On the 4th-string side of the neck pocket, there is a chip in the wood, and on the 1st-string side, there is a crack in the finish.

The neck has a slight forward bow, and the remaining fret height is approximately 0.9 mm to 1.0 mm. It plays smoothly without any muffled notes and is in good playing condition.

The truss rod has been adjusted and confirmed to allow for a 60-degree bend in both directions.

Although the exterior shows significant signs of wear, this is a highly recommended guitar that’s still very much playable!
