2015年製 Historic Collection 1959 ES-335 Dot Reissueが入荷いたしました。
2013~2014年に行われたアップデートである、ニカワを使用した指板&ネックとネック&ボディの接着、チューブレス・トラスロッドといった人気のスペックをインストールした一本。
1959年仕様の特徴である「ミッキーマウスイヤー」と呼ばれる丸みを帯びたホーンの形状やブリッジまで到達するロング・ピックガード、更には現行品よりも太いネック・シェイプが魅力となっております。
ピックアップには人気のカスタムバッカー(ポッテッド)を搭載。
ブリッジ(Gibson / ABR-1)、テールピースのスタッド(FIXER / Lock System)が交換されております。
ネック・コンディションは良好で、トラスロッドも余裕あり。
フレットはローポジションのプレーン弦下に僅かに押弦の痕が見受けられますが、演奏上の問題はなく、全体的にも顕著な減りはなく、まだまだご使用いただけます。
メンフィス・ファクトリーが無くなって以降、ヒストリックコレクションのES-335は基本VOSフィニッシュとなっておりますので、グロス・フィニッシュでお探しの方にオススメの一本です。
残念ながら認定証は欠品。

A 2015 Historic Collection 1959 ES-335 Dot Reissue has arrived.
This guitar features popular specifications introduced in the 2013–2014 updates, including a fingerboard and neck glued to the body using animal glue, as well as a tubeless truss rod.
Its appeal lies in the rounded horn shape—known as “Mickey Mouse ears”—characteristic of the 1959 model, the long pickguard that extends all the way to the bridge, and a neck shape that is thicker than that of current models.
It is equipped with the popular Custom Bucker (potted) pickups.
The bridge (Gibson / ABR-1) and tailpiece studs (FIXER / Lock System) have been replaced.
The neck is in good condition, and there is plenty of play left in the truss rod.
There are slight signs of wear under the plain strings in the lower positions, but this does not affect playability; overall, there is no significant wear, and the guitar is still fully playable.
Since the Memphis Factory closed, the ES-335 in the Historic Collection has generally featured a VOS finish, so this is a great choice for those looking for a gloss finish.
Unfortunately, the certificate of authenticity is missing.
It comes with the original hard case, tags, and case key.
