Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Axcess Standard Figured Top w/Floyd Rose Gloss Iced Tea Burst—2012—

A used 2012 Les Paul Axcess has just arrived!

The body features a two-piece maple top with a three-dimensional, finely detailed pin-striped figure, a mahogany body with weight relief and contouring, a solid mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

The headstock features the Gibson logo along with a “Les Paul MODEL” silkscreen and a truss rod cover engraved with “Les Paul CUSTOM.” While the original tuners were Kluson, they have been replaced with Gotoh locking tuners.
At this time, the “APEX headstock” had not yet been introduced, so like standard Les Paul Standard and Custom models, it features a smooth headstock with a locking nut.

The neck is a slim taper with just the right thickness for excellent playability, and it features dish inlays and binding.

While Burstbucker #1 and #2 pickups are standard, this guitar is equipped with the SEYMOUR DUNCAN APH-2/APH-2b “Slash Model,” and the two volume pots and two capacitors have been replaced.

The hardware is chrome, featuring a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, gold speed knobs, locking strap pins, and a jack plate.
The finish is an “Iced Tea Burst,” where the sunburst has faded significantly and the red tones have begun to fade slightly.

This well-played guitar shows numerous scratches, dents, and scuffs, and there is some paint chipping on the back of the body; however, it is fully functional. The frets have approximately 70% life remaining, and we have confirmed that the truss rod turns 60 degrees in both directions.
