We’ve received a used “American Special Jazzmaster.”

While staying true to the traditional Jazzmaster style, this model features two “Jazzmaster Special Humbucking” pickups, delivering a powerful, full-bodied sound in addition to the classic Jazzmaster nuances. It produces a lustrous, rich tone when played clean and showcases the characteristic depth and power of humbuckers when driven, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.

The alder body delivers a well-balanced sound with rich mids. The maple neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard ensures smooth playability. The combination of a 9.5-inch radius and jumbo frets allows for comfortable playing, from chord work to lead playing.

In terms of condition, the frets have approximately 90% life remaining, and there is virtually no wear from fingering. The neck is in excellent condition, with no playing issues such as buzzing or muting. The truss rod has been tested to move 60 degrees in both directions, and there is ample adjustment range remaining. While there are slight signs of use and minor scratches on the exterior, the guitar maintains a very clean overall appearance.
