Developed in collaboration with legendary bassist Tim Commerford of Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, and 7D7D, Xavier Green's limited edition Artist Series Stingray bass commemorates his longstanding relationship with Ernie Ball Music Man. The bass commemorates Xavier Green's long-standing relationship with Ernie Ball Music Man.
Each features a custom numbered neck plate, and the bass's ash body, roasted maple neck, and ebony fingerboard combine to produce a rich, balanced tone.
Neodymium Music Man humbucking, an 18-volt preamp, and a 3-band EQ provide an incredible variety of tones, while a string-through-body bridge with a mute kit improves sustain and control.
Also inspired by Comerford's playing style, black hardware and a custom height-adjustable "finger ramp" thumbrest add to the functionality and comfort of the instrument.
The pickups are equipped with powerful neodymium magnets, and the controls are similar to those of the basic Stingray, with the traditional Stingray sound at its core, but improved with a new 18V (9V x 2) spec active preamp that provides more headroom, The new 18V (9V x 2) active preamplifier has more headroom, allowing for a variety of expression, from classic vintage sounds to modern punchy sounds.
The classic string-through bridge also features a separate mute pad.
