Firebird 5 was produced from 1963 to 1969.
This is a non-reverse model that was produced for a short time from mid-1965.
The pegs, frets, pickups original, plate springs and pickguard have probably been replaced.
Nut has been replaced and may have been over-lacquered on the back of the neck and body.

The combination of the withered mahogany neck and body and mini humbuckers produces a sensual, clear, yet colorful and lustrous sound, and the deluxe vibrato (aka "plate spring") adds a unique reverb and produces a heavenly tone.

The overall appearance of the guitar shows natural weather checks that have occurred over time, giving it a distinctly different feel from vintage reissues.
There is plenty of truss rod room and 60-70% frets left, so it is in good playing condition.
Comes with genuine hard case and tags.

1963年から1969年まで生産されていたファイヤーバード5。
こちらは1965年中頃から短期間生産されていたノン・リバースのモデルになります。
ペグ、フレット、ピックアップオリジナル、板バネとピックガードが交換されていると思われます。
ナット交換済み、ネック裏とボディにオーバーラッカーされている可能性があります。

枯れ切ったマホガニーネック＆ボディとミニ・ハムバッカーの組み合わせは、官能的とも言えるクリアながら色気と艶のあるサウンドを、デラックス・ヴァイブローラ(通称：板バネ)が独特の残響を加味し、天上的なトーンを生み出します。
是非ヴィンテージ・アンプと組み合わせてプレイして頂きたい超絶逸品になります。

全体に経年変化によって自然に生じたウェザーチェックが見られ、ヴィンテージ・リイシューとは一線を画す雰囲気が備わっております。
トラスロッド余裕有り、フレット6～7割程度残り、プレイコンディション良好です。
