Fender Custom Shop 1962 Stratocaster is now in stock.

Fender Custom Shop is one of the most prestigious Fender lineup. The Stratocaster we have in stock is based on the 1962 Stratocaster.

The body is made of 2-piece Alder, the neck is quarter-sawn maple, and the fingerboard is slabboard rosewood.
The fingerboard radius is 9.5 and the neck shape is oval "C".

The pickups are hand-wound FAT 60S. The middle pickup is reverse wound to reduce noise in the half position.

The finish is Fender's heaviest and most intense brick, Heavy Relic.
The highly popular Festa Red color has been heavily used over the years.

The color of Festa Red varies depending on the production period and lot, but this one has a slightly pinkish color, like the salmon pink Strat that was used by the man who was called a "living national treasure.

It is difficult to judge the usage of this model, but it is in good condition with almost no fret loss.

It is a Festa Red, which is a very different color among the many Fender color variations.

数あるフェンダーラインナップの中で最高峰に位置するカスタムショップ。入荷した個体は1962年製ストラトキャスターをモチーフに製作された１本となっています。

ボディーには２ピースのアルダー、ネックにはクォーターソーンのメイプル、指板にはスラブボード仕様のローズウッドという王道の62ウッドマテリアル。
指板のラディアスは9.5、ネックシェイプはオーバル"C"が採用されています。

ピックアップにはハンドワンドされた同社のFAT 60Sを搭載。ミドル･ピックアップはリバースワウンド(逆巻き)となっており、ハーフポジションの際にノイズを軽減いたします。

フィニッシュにはフェンダーで最も激しいレリックとなるヘビーレリックを採用。
高に人気を誇るフェスタレッドに長い年月を欠けて酷使されてきたかのようなレリック加工を施しています。

製造時期やロットによってかなり色味の異なるフェスタレッドですが、こちらはややピンクがかったカラーとなっており、人間国宝とも呼ばれたあの方が愛用していたサーモンピンクのストラトの様な雰囲気となっています。

使用感に関しては判断の難しいモデルですが、フレットの減りもほとんど見られず、良いコンディションを維持しています。

数あるフェンダーのカラーバリエーションの中でもかなり色味が異なるフェスタレッドです。
