The Vintage Custom 1950 Double Esquire is one of the earliest models and is a faithful reproduction of the amazingly rare dual pickup version of the Esquire.

Mounted with hand-wound '50 -'51 Blackguard pickups, it delivers a surprisingly fat and juicy tone. We also added '51 Nocaster wiring and improved controls. You'll notice a blender pot has been added in place of the standard tone control, and an additional resistor to the rhythm circuit provides a sweeter output. The fingerboard at the neck features a 7.25" (184 mm)-9.5" (241 mm) vintage compound radius shape. This specification is found on a few rare cases and is a unique feel among vintage style models. It also features medium vintage frets that are slightly larger than vintage frets and very comfortable to play.

Other specs include Nocaster Blonde paint job with NOS Flashcoat lacquer, Closet Classic hardware, 2-piece off-center seam ash body, and a colored quarter-sawn maple neck with a 10/56 V-shaped profile. 21 medium vintage frets, 3-way switch, black phenolic pickguard, '51-'54 Tele bridge, brass saddle, bone nut, round string tree, and vintage-style tuners.

This unit was made in 2022. It has been kept in very clean condition with very little use. All accessories are also included.
