Frantisek Furch grew up in the Czech Republic (former Czechoslovakia) during the socialist era, under a communist regime that kept him away from American music, He was fascinated by American bluegrass and folk music in particular, and was a player/enthusiast himself.

In the 80's, Furch Guitars became one of the leading guitar brands in Europe, and has continued to attract many fans with its outstanding technology.

Furch Guitars has just received the "G22 SR CUT," a guitar with the "Stone Bridge" brand name for the North American market.

The guitar has a traditional design with a spruce top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard and bridge.
The nut width is approximately 44.5mm in actual measurement, and the 650mm scale provides a bouncy tone.

There are some minor scratches and dings throughout the body, but it is in relatively clean condition.
An additional strap pin has been added at the heel of the neck, and a strap pin at the end of the body has been fitted with a wood pin that matches the extended post-hole system when the pickup jack is removed.
The neck is flat and in very good condition with no warping, waviness, or twisting, and the truss rod (4mm) works fine.
The truss rod (4mm) works fine. The string height has been adjusted, so there is a small amount of saddle remaining, but the playability is excellent.

The Stone Bridge "Furch" is highly regarded by fingerpickers for its good output balance in each range and its straightforwardness and playability in response to picking nuances.
The tone of this European acoustic is honest, delicate, and fat, and makes you want to play it forever.
