Takamine is one of Japan's world-class acoustic manufacturers.
The model we have just received is a model that was produced for a short period of time from 1979 to the early 1980's. The sound hole shape of the first year model was an oval shape.
The sound hole shape of the first year model is an oval shape, and since this one is also an oval shape, it was made in 1979, the first year of production.

The instrument has been in production for over 40 years, so there are signs of use, but it has been checked and adjusted as a whole by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.
