It appears to have not been played much while in the case, so there are very few scratches and damage to the surface of the paint.
There is a slight rubbing of the lacquer on the 4th string side of the elbow and a 3mm oval melting of the lacquer.

The Hefner Violin Bass, which gained eternal popularity through its use by Paul McCartney, is one of the great icons of rock and roll music, with its sweet, deep tone and striking looks that are instantly recognizable.

The slightly candy yellowed pearloid pickguard and control plate give it a nice patina.

The neck fretboard shows no problems, so this is one that you can continue to use in the future.

It comes with the previous owner's Buffet Crampon warranty card, strap, and replacement strings (1,2,4 strings only).
