USED Fender / 1972 Precision Bass Lake Placid Blue [05]

A very rare Lake Placid Blue for the 1970s is now in stock.

Lake Placid Blue was common in the mid-1960s on both Jazbet and Preve, but a 1972 Precision was found in impressive condition.
The guitar was owned by a collector in the San Francisco Bay Area, and as mentioned above, it is in excellent condition. The only changes that can be seen are the pickup cushions and the upper and lower screws on the 1-string bridge.

The frets are the same as the original frets with the file marks still intact, and the pot dates are 304-7211 for both volume and tone, with not even a solder change to be found. The pickups were not forcibly removed due to sticking, but we interpret that they have not been replaced because of the gray bobbin, vinyl wire, and no solder replacement.

Neck date is 5 JAN 72 B.

The sound has a completely different character from the deep, connected sound of the mid-60s, with a slightly brighter and silkier sound that is appealing, and you can feel what you are playing straight away, and the expression can be completely changed depending on how you use the tone. The tone can be changed depending on how you use it.
