Hofner 500/1 Vintage 62 WHP

Hofner violin basses gained popularity through Paul McCartney's use of the Hofner 500/1 Vintage 62 WHP.
This is the World History Premium series, available only in Japan.

The unique sound of the hollow body and short scale, and the design of Hefner, a violin maker, is something that everyone would like to have at least once.
The jack position and the rear pickup position closer to the bridge have been carefully reproduced according to the '62 specifications.

The certification card that comes with the guitar indicates that it was made in 2015.
There is a crack on the rear pickup escutcheon, a gap in the binding near the waist, dents on the neck side at 17, 19, and 21F, and other minor paint cracks and dings throughout, but all of these appear to have been caused by use.

The hard case, pick guard, certificate of authenticity, strap, and other tags have been kept, and although there are signs of use, it is clear that the instrument has been carefully cared for.
