Paul Reed Smith / Paul's Guitar Artist Package Tremolo Tobacco Wrap Burst, made in 2014, is now in stock!

This model is based on the prototype used by Paul, and has been developed and evolved to finally go on sale. The model is a concrete answer to the theme of how to reproduce the "sound" produced by the luxurious use of high-grade tonewoods in a musical way.

The double-narrow 408 pickups used in the Collection Series Brent Mason Signature were selected from the tried-and-true 408 system, allowing the switching/fusion of single coil and humbucking pickups on a practical level, The result is a rich, versatile, and easy-to-control sound that reaches new heights never before achieved. It is no exaggeration to say that the result is close to the level of private stock.

Normally, Paul's Guitar is equipped with a stoptail bridge, but this model is equipped with the long-awaited PRS Tremolo. This model is equipped with the long-awaited PRS Tremolo, which enables arming that was not possible with the stoptail bridge specification, and together with the 408 pickup, it can be said to be a guitar with a wide variety of expressive possibilities.

The instrument is in relatively clean condition with a few dents and scratches, and the Artist Grade one-piece flame maple top is also in excellent condition and looks great. Playability is excellent, including the truss rod, of course.

Paulが使用したプロトタイプを元に、発展進化させ、遂に発売に漕ぎ着けた当モデルには、Paulの拘りが随所に垣間見えます。ハイグレードのトーンウッドの贅沢な使用を前提とし、そこから生み出される「鳴り」を、どのようにして音楽的に再生するかというテーマに対する回答が具体的に示されております。

試行錯誤の中から誕生した408システムからCollection Series Brent Mason Signatureに採用されたダブル・ナロー・408ピックアップをセレクトし、シングルコイル/ハムバッキング・ピックアップの切り替え/融合が実践的なレベルで実現し、豊かな鳴りに多彩な表情を与え、尚且つコントロールし易いサウンドにして出力するという、これまで実現した事の無い境地に達する事に成功。気合十分の仕上りは、プライベート・ストックに迫るレベルと言っても過言ではありません。

通常Paul’s Guitarはストップテイルブリッジ仕様となっておりますが、当機は待望のPRS Tremoloを搭載したモデルとなります。ストップテイルブリッジ仕様では実現しなかったアーミングを可能としており408ピックアップと合わせて実に多彩な表現力を秘めている1本と言えるでしょう。

打痕やキズなど若干の使用感はございますが比較的キレイなコンディション。Artist Gradeの1ピースフレイムメイプルトップも素晴らしく見た目もグッドな1本です。もちろんトラスロッド含めプレイアビリティは良好です。
