Monthly Limited Run" is a non-regular lineup produced in limited quantities every month.
The Monthly Limited Run is a rare lineup of Gibson acoustic guitars that is limited to 70 pieces at most per month, including reissues of previously produced models, artist models, and color specifications that are not part of the regular lineup.

The one we have just received is one of the 2020 Monthly Limited Run made exclusively for sale in Japan, and is styled as a traditional J-45, a reissue of the early 40s J-45 design.

Spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck, rosewood bridge and fingerboard, 19 frets. The head features a banner logo, white button pegs, and a banner bridge with long saddles, giving it a vintage look.
The nut width is about 44mm, and the neck has a thick round C shape.

The body is in good condition for its age, with some scratches and dings, but the condition is relatively clean for a J-45, which is known as a workhorse.
The neck is in good condition and playability is excellent.

The thin paint job on this J-45 will probably make it a more distinctive Gibson acoustic as it is played more and more.
It has a thick, organic tone that can be described as a J-45, and it is a quintessential "Workhorse" that sounds great on both single notes and chords.
