USED Fender / 1978-79 Precision Bass Sunburst [05]

We have just received a 78-79 Prebe in good playing condition.

This is one of the most affordable vintage basses in the market, and is easy to use for daily use.

This one is judged to be made in 1978-79 based on NECK DATE, POT DATE, and PU DATE.
Ash body with rosewood fingerboard.

This bass is in good playing condition and has been recently refretted, so there are no problems around the frets or rods.
This bass is recommended for those who are looking for a bass that can be used as a gun. The nut is judged to be original.

The body cavity has a zigzag shape that dates back to mid-1977, but the paint on the neck pocket and neck end gluing surface is consistent, and the head serial number and pickguard serial number match, so we have determined that it is original. Volume POT indicates replaced, Tone POT indicates 78, and PU DATE indicates 78. * PU DATE not readable on bass string side.
NECK DATE shows April '79, so it seems to have been made from '78 to early '79 using the body made in '77.

There are many paint chips on the back of the body and the tip of the head, etc., and a common wood crack by the 4th string peg. There are some other signs of use, but there are no problems with playability.
