This is a limited edition Les Paul Standard Sparkle series sold in 2000! This is one of the limited edition Les Paul Standard Sparkle series! Body is maple & mahogany, neck is mahogany, fingerboard is rosewood, and pickups are 490R & 498T. The condition has some age to it, as it has been on the market for more than 25 years now. The body has minor dings, weather checks, scratches, paint lifting, rust, and cracks on the knobs. However, the feeling of use on the back of the neck and the feeling of fret loss suggests that the guitar has been used with a good deal of care rather than having been used for many years. The weather checks, which are common on Sparkle, may or may not be noticeable depending on the angle you look at it.
