This is the 147th model made in 1983, a very rare and valuable model of which only 211 were made.

The Spotlight Special has a very unique appearance. Solid mahogany body with a strip of walnut in the center of the body and curly maple on both sides of the strip. The neck is a 3-piece mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, a royal material configuration.

Pot Date is 1378307, original made in 1983. Condenser is also original. Pickups are engraved numbered Patent No. 2, 737, and 842, also stamped in 1983.

Other than that, nut, frets, pegs and jack are all original. The gold parts have some cracks and light cracks in the paint, but there are almost no scratches or dents (there are some dents and scratches on the sides), and the guitar is in very clean condition. The truss rod has plenty of room and playability is excellent.

It is unlikely that you will find a fully original instrument in this good of condition in the future. Only 211 of these premium pieces were made, so please consider this an opportunity to own one of a kind.
