USED Gibson / 1975 Les Paul Custom Cherry Sunburst [05]

We have a 1975 Gibson / Les Paul Custom Cherry Sunburst in excellent condition!

This is a 1975 example with serial: 570788 and Pot Date: 1377523.

Pancake body with 3-piece maple top / mahogany body with thin maple sandwiched between, 3-piece mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. The Gibson logo on the head is a closed o and there is no dot on the "i", which is one of the most distinctive features of this period. The neck is volute, and "Made in USA" is engraved on the neck.

The pegs are mounted with a Crewson waffle back. The neck joint is a short tenon. The frets are fretless wanders, which were used in this period. Playability is good with minimal fret wear. The nut is original.

Pickups are sticker numbered PAF (2.737.842) and engraved numbered PAF. The pot date is 1377523, and although some of the pots are not visible due to solder, I believe all 4 pots are the same. The capacitors are also original.

The fretboard is in good condition and can be used immediately.

It is a fully original instrument with no replacement parts, and comes with an original hard case of the same age, making it an attractive collector's item.
