USED ACOUSTIC / Black Widow AC600 [05]

This is a very rare bass guitar sold by ACOUSTIC (Acoustic Control Corporation), an amp maker famous for its use by Jaco Pastorius and John Jay. This model was manufactured at Matsumoku (a factory that manufactured ARIA, etc.) in Nagano Prefecture at that time. The pickups with split layout magnet pattern and the bridge used for the Japanese Fender type are also attractive. The pads on the back of the body were probably made based on a photo that was left as a record, and the fact that they have been reproduced quite faithfully is a great point of interest. The binding and other parts make it look like a hollowbody, but it is a solid body, and the shape of the arch on the top of the body is reminiscent of a mozzrite. Incidentally, the guitar version of this model is known for its use by Jimi Hendrix. Just kidding!
