The Firebird was designed by car designer Raymond Dietrich in 1963 and has an innovative form. This model is the Non-Reverse model V.

The Firebird V was produced from 1963 to 1969, and this is the Non-Reverse model that was produced for a short time from the middle of 1965. The serial number is 500689 and it was made in 1966.

Body and neck are made of mahogany, and rosewood fingerboard is used. The truss rod has plenty of room. It is also equipped with a long vibrato roller, which gives it a very cool look.

Two original sticker-numbered mini humbuckers are mounted on the pickups. The unique bright, crisp, fat sound of the mini-humbuckers is very appealing. The long sustain is very compatible with slide playing, and many blues and rock players love to use it.

The pot date is 137-653X x 2. Other pots are hidden by soldered parts, so it is impossible to judge them, but we judge them as original pots based on comprehensive judgment. Of course, the capacitors are also original. The selector is also original and is the slide type used in early models.
One side dot on the 12F has been corrected.

The pickguard has some cracks, but there is no problem as it is now. The nut (6th string side is chipped) and frets are original. The slide switch has some contact defects, but we have not replaced it to give priority to the originality.

There are other scratches and dings commensurate with the age of the instrument, but it is in good playing condition.

The hard case is also original and highly original. Please take this opportunity to consider this as a lifelong partner.
