Gibson Memphis / Hand Select 1963 ES-335TD Figured VOS Vintage Natural in used condition!

Serial: 61185, made in 2016.

This is a premium one that was specially selected and ordered in Memphis, and is a highly recommended one that has a high quality feel and presence with its so-called blond color and crisp figured finish.

This is a reissue of an ES-335 with the popular small block position markers and thin rolled neck grip from around 1963.

The plastic parts with 45-degree bevel and the cutaway horn shape, which looks a little sharp, are also faithfully reproduced. It is painted with nitrocellulose lacquer in a VOS finish that evokes the look of an old guitar, and features a nylon saddle, adirondack spruce bracing, and a tubeless historic truss rod. The pickups are MHS Unpotted Humbuckers.

This is a special model that was ordered from Gibson Memphis, where the wood was selected from hundreds of planks. Until now, Memphis products have not been available for wood selection, but from December 2015, hand selection is now possible. This model is the very first hand-selected model. This model is the best Memphis model not only in sound but also in looks.

It has some scratches and dings, but it is in relatively clean condition. The playability, including the truss rod, is also excellent.
