USED Hofner / 500/1 Vintage 63 Sunburst (Late '90s) [05]

A Vintage 63, believed to have been made in the late 1990s, has just arrived!

This guitar lacks a serial number or stickers, making it difficult to pinpoint its exact age. Based on the three-piece neck and the fact that other guitars with the same specifications and no serial number existed during the period described below, we believe this one was likely built sometime between 1997 and 2000. The included heavy, square hard case appears to be the type used for sales in the UK.
This guitar features an umlaut on the headstock logo and no neck binding. The corners of the plywood top are rounded, the body is slightly taller than average, and each switch is labeled “ON.” The cream-colored body binding shows some chipping but is still intact. Since the rear pickup was broken at the time of arrival, we had it rewound at a workshop we partner with.Otherwise, the electronics show no signs of having been replaced or repaired. The neck is in good condition with no major issues, and the instrument is currently in good playing condition.

It comes with the original strap and an instruction manual detailing how to attach it.
Hofner, which unfortunately went bankrupt last year, has seen prices rise sharply on the new market, and these models are likely to become even harder to find in the future.
