Serial No.: 01480001; this instrument was manufactured in 2000. It is a premium model featuring Brazilian rosewood.

The SJ-200 has earned worldwide fame as the “King of Flat-Tops.” Since its debut in 1937, legendary musicians across generations have continued to play this top-of-the-line instrument. It produces exceptional tone and unparalleled natural resonance.

It features a luxurious configuration: a 2-piece solid red spruce top, solid Brazilian rosewood sides, and a 2-piece solid Brazilian rosewood back. The neck is a 3-piece design consisting of two solid striped flame maple pieces and one central rosewood stripe.

We’ve performed a full adjustment, including correcting the Skunk Line unevenness and re-gluing the four back braces. While there are some paint cracks and dents overall, the guitar remains in relatively good condition. Above all, the use of Brazilian rosewood is a particularly welcome feature.

* Although the distributor’s warranty card lists the model as “J200,” the label on the body reads “SJ-200,” so we’ve used the “SJ” designation here. The serial numbers match. Additionally, both the label and the warranty card specify “Brazilian Rosewood.”
