A limited-edition Japanese-made signature model inspired by the beloved guitar of Char, one of Japan’s leading guitarists. This particular guitar has the serial number 076.

This model was released to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Stratocaster. While based on the 1959 Fender Stratocaster, it features a unique design tailored to Char’s playing style. The neck pocket is designed to be deep, and the tremolo cavity is generously sized, ensuring optimal range of motion and tone when using the tremolo arm.

The body is made of alder, the neck of maple, and the fingerboard of rosewood. In addition to a classic playing feel achieved by combining a 7.25-inch radius with vintage-style frets, it is equipped with three Char-original single-coil pickups. Its appeal lies in the clear, resonant tone characteristic of a Stratocaster and a sound that covers a wide range from blues to rock.

The finish is "Char Burgundy," inspired by the aged look of Burgundy Mist. It features a matching headstock, giving it a look reminiscent of Char’s own cherished instrument.

This model is a “Limited” edition produced in limited quantities and, unlike the standard model, features a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Another key feature is that the maple and rosewood used for the neck, as well as the alder used for the body, were carefully selected based on Char’s actual instrument.

In addition to a hard case, this premium package includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Char himself and a photograph, making it an attractive instrument not only for players but also as a collector’s item.
