A 1965 Fender Mustang in Dakota Red has arrived!!

This 1965 model features a neck date of 8NOV65B and a pot date of 304-6542. It’s a beautiful guitar with its original Dakota Red finish.

The pickups feature original gray bobbins; while the date on the front pickup has faded, the rear pickup is dated 11-13-65. * We believe the front pickup is also original.

The pot dates are 3046542×2, indicating they are original. Other components, such as the switch, are also original. The neck has been adjusted with a single shim. The nut and frets have been replaced, and playability is excellent.

Of course, it comes with the original case from that era. The tremolo arm is missing.

While there are some scratches and dents commensurate with its age, this is a beautiful instrument in excellent condition with a high degree of originality. We hope you will consider this opportunity.
