It features numerous one-of-a-kind specifications throughout, utilizing top-tier Master Grade Quilt Maple for the top and Swamp Ash for the back, known for its lightweight feel and fast, responsive sound. The headstock and neck feature flame maple binding, while the ebony fingerboard boasts abalone crown inlays with precision-inlaid outlines.

The pickups combine the classic EMG PJ with the HAZ Lab 9V—a combination that has defined the NS-2 sound since the 1980s.
