USED Gibson / Les Paul Standard Left-Handed Heritage Cherry Sunburst 1997 [05]

We have received a left-handed Gibson Les Paul Standard from 1997.

This model features the quintessential standard specifications: a plain maple top, mahogany body back and neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

The understated appearance of the top wood complements the burst finish, giving the guitar a solid, no-nonsense vibe.
Unlike more recent models, this guitar has not undergone weight relief, so it weighs approximately 4.46 kg—a weight that’s quintessentially Les Paul.
It is equipped with 490R and 498T pickups.

The nut, strap pins, and capacitor have been replaced by previous owners.
Although it is equipped with right-handed control pots, Gibson’s left-handed models sometimes come with right-handed pots mounted by default depending on the production period, so these are likely the originals.

While there are signs of general wear—such as scratches, dents, and minor paint cracks due to aging—the guitar has been inspected, repaired, and fully adjusted by a professional repair technician after arrival, including the replacement of the control pots, and is now in excellent playing condition.

It comes with the original hard case and a box wrench for neck adjustment.
