Fender Custom Shop / Limited Edition 1960s HS Telecaster Aged CAR over Pink Paisley Heavy Relic has arrived in used condition!!

Serial No.: CZ531910; this guitar was manufactured in 2017.

Released in 2017, the Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1960s HS Telecaster is a special model created to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Fender Custom Shop.

Based on 1960s designs, this guitar features a front humbucker.

It features a selected alder body and an AA-grade flamed maple neck. The “63 STRAT C” shape, popular at the Custom Shop, offers excellent stability. The round 3A-grade rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5R radius and is fitted with JESCAR 6100 Jumbo frets.

The pickups include a Custom Shop Hand-Wound Twisted TL pickup at the bridge and a custom-wound EVH WG pickup at the neck.

The combination of a warm, high-output neck humbucker and a punchy, clear single-coil bridge pickup allows this limited-edition model to deliver an extremely wide range of tonal variations.

The neck position delivers a fat, smooth tone ideal for rock, as well as mellow jazz tones, while the bridge position produces that classic, crisp “twang” sound.

Another distinctive feature is the reverse-wired controls.

The finish is lacquer, featuring a heavy relic aging treatment that replicates intense wear and tear. A paisley pattern is visible beneath the finish, resulting in a strikingly wild look.

Due to the relic finish, it’s difficult to judge the actual wear, but it’s in relatively good condition. Of course, playability—including the truss rod—is excellent.
