A used Gibson Memphis / 1958 ES-335 VOS Natural has arrived!!

This is the unit with serial number A08164.

This is a Memphis factory-made reissue model featuring the highly sought-after 1958 specs, the year the ES-335 was first introduced.

True to vintage design, it features the “mouse-ear” horn shape, a fat, round neck without binding, a long pickguard, and dot position marks.

The neck itself has a thick, rounded shape typical of the ’50s, offering a substantial, “fat” feel from the 5th fret onward all the way up to the higher positions.

It is equipped with MHS humbuckers. Essential for reproducing the PAF tone, these pickups feature an unmatched-turn construction using AWG 42 enameled coil wire. Furthermore, they are unpotted as standard, with Alnico 3 magnets in the front and Alnico 2 magnets in the rear. These are Memphis Factory original PAF-reproduction pickups, tuned specifically to match the body.

While there are some minor scratches and dents indicating moderate use, the guitar remains in relatively good condition. Of course, playability—including the truss rod—is excellent.

Unfortunately, the certificate of authenticity and other accessories are missing, but the original case is included.
